The paradox of Jesus as Lord of History and the Lamb who was slain; the letters to the Seven Churches; the seals, trumpets, and bowl judgments; the Father’s great love and His chastisement; the Woman, the Beast, and the host of heaven: these concepts found their fulfillment in John’s own time, but also are fulfilled in our time and look to the End for final realization.
